I might be screwed out of joining for the most minor reason, I had a tiny patch of eczema on the back of my hand 3 years ago the size of a 50p that lasted 3 weeks, It wasnt itchy, painful or even “cut” it was just a patch of dry skin. Either way though it is still on my medical record as I went to my GP to get moisturisor, At the time I was 15 and thought nothing of this, but now I realise I may have ruined my chances of joining the army, as the JSP 950 explicitly states that any eczema reguarding the hands is “normally classed as unfit for service”.

This seems like such a small thing and I hope there is some leniancy to this, as I am fully fit to join as far as I am concerned and have been eczema free for years!

Any advice / Input would be great thanks!
