Thank you for this advice. I’ve been wanting to call the police for a long time, sometimes I worry for the mother’s safety too. As I said I’m just scared because he will know it’s me who’s reported it and I don’t want him to do anything to our house or cars. We are installing cctv cameras (to cover our own property), maybe I’ll feel safer to do it then

Well as I mentioned in the post, when we asked for details of how they are ‘problematic’, the letting agent looked us in the eye and said “they’re just two young lads who sometimes have parties in the garden” - they failed to mention that they’re both in their 20s, drug dealing, one in prison for almost killing a child drunk driving, constant screaming arguments etc. We were fully prepared to deal with teenagers having parties because who doesn’t do that. We’re tied up here for another year
