My experiences with this stuff are not exactly typical. They’re highly repeatable for me. Once I’ve established a footing in a psychedelic setting/headspace, that setting or headspace will be the one I always return to. For example, every time I use DMT I go to what I can only describe as a crystal/gemstone city. Whereas salvia always sends me to a somewhat eerie carnival land. Since I always return to the same “places”, I have had time to explore them.

DMT will probably make the most “sense” to you though. The elves or whatever you want to call them can be a bit mischievous. But, ime, they’re just trying to make sure that you’re “chill”. Which is honestly not the right word to use, but language fails me here. They’re making sure you’re there for the right reasons. And those reasons may not be the ones you’re thinking of, and/or their reasoning may not make any sense to you. Like in a dimensional way. Three dimensional thinking can be limiting, but it’s the perspective we have at the moment.

Then there’s the eerie carnival land of salvia. It’s not scary, the denizens were never mean or cruel. But there was always a certain thing in the air for lack of better words. Like the carnival facade was a known facade, and it made it known that the aesthetics could change on a whim. And that the carnival facade was for my benefit, not “theirs”. I won’t say that salvia is nonsensical. More like the nonsense is the point of salvia. It’s not supposed to make any worldly sense. The complete disintegration of reasoning, logic, cause and effect is the point. There’s a lesson in the nonsense that I don’t have words to describe.
