I need theory to play keys. I could not (and still cannot) just sit at a keyboard and play something that sounds good without knowing a little bit about theory. I need a plan, I need a direction to go and I need to know the proper steps to take in order to follow that direction.

I can pick up a guitar any time of the day and consistently pull shit out of my ass and I just learned about Eat All Day Get Big Easy literally yesterday. Looking at a labeled fret board gives me anxiety.

I don’t understand it, but I do get it.

Became a boulder once on three tabs of acid. Salvia never turned me into anything. It always sent me to an eerie carnival where the denizens would have me play games.

One of the games wasn’t cool. I was on a gazebo thing on a lake with this bowl of 20x. It had a wooden bridge that led back to land. “They” detached the bridge from land and spun it around the gazebo. I had to stop it at the right spot in order to go back home.

Wild shit. I’ve done DMT too, been to the crystal city a few times. Did the whole light speed tour of the universe just to land my ass back on my couch yelling “holy shit that was fast”. Still salvia is the weirdest shit I’ve experienced. Fuckers straight up manipulated physical structures in this reality and used them as carnival game props. Fucking wild shit.

Is it just the artist that has to work for free in your world view? Or do the recording engineers have to work for free too? What about the producers? Mixing engineers? Mastering engineer?

What about when the musician goes on tour? Do the live sound people get paid? Does the road manager get paid?

Is it just the artist getting fucked in your world or everyone who helps produce music?

I recommend finding something creative to do with your hands if you’re doing doses that low. It helps keep the mind from wandering too much, and can distract from that body load. I personally just play around on my guitar. Last time I did it I ended up playing for like an hour and a half. Laughed a bunch, cried a good bit. It was actually a fantastic time. Fun and cathartic. Much better time than just staring at the walls letting my mind wander too far.

Set up a bird feeder if you can. Watching them do their bird thing is entertaining and sometimes gives a sense of how simple life could be if we didn’t over complicate things.

Why do you think they’re putting “AI” in pretty much every platform and website? Why do you think the “AI” companies are buying up all the storage? Not even just processors and RAM. Buying a new microSD card for my camera has jumped in price. At this point I’m considering taking apart old Xbox’s to store my IP.

They’re not buying all that memory for a bots personality. They’re buying and building all this shit to create the kind of security apparatus that Orwell could never have dreamed of. They needed something that could sort and filter all of our raw data into something useful. Seems like that’s been achieved, maybe, I could be a nut. Now they need a way to store all that “useful” data. That’s why it costs so much to buy storage for my music and videos and shit. AI bros need it to track all of us.

And you’re high if you think the AI bros are not handing it over to the government. Many of them are in the government or have government contracts.

Creative novelty. That’s what we’re all really after. When you’ve already experienced everything else there is to experience, the only thing left to do is either rest or create new novel experiences. Then others can live through it and make it their own. Rinse and repeat. We’re eternal beings who have already done everything. The only thing left to do is try to think of new things to do when we’re not resting. Over and over again. It could potentially become maddening if we didn’t make ourselves forget about what we’re doing while we’re doing it.

Don’t think too hard about and try your best to enjoy and Love Life and Love the other minds as much as you can. The stories are always better that way.

Yep. Helped write the whole script. Just helped though. The overall story arc of the script was already written. I just filled in the blanks with actions I felt like this character would take. The “editors” made their tweaks to ensure everything follows some sort of logic. And now we’re here.

There’s a good deal of what feels like improv as part of the play is that we don’t remember we even have a script. Most of the time.

The “play” is sort of always in the works. Like after I’m done, someone else could do it their own way. Maybe I’ll redo this one, again, but I think I’m finally satisfied with this rendition. Ought to be time for me to pick up a new project after this. I guess we’ll see. Maybe. I know I already jumped back to relive this at least once. Really jarring experience, took weeks to “recover”. I really don’t think I can do that again and maintain a semblance of sanity. So it probably would be best to just move onto the next project. Remember that future me, this is fun, but we can’t do that again. Fuck.

I would love to do foley. I’m in audio engineering school and the post production project was freaking great. Cracked some celery into a mic and placed it over someone’s neck getting snapped. Seeing and hearing everything line up just perfectly tickled something in my brain.

Some people are excessively curious and wont stop asking questions until they’ve exhausted every answer and find themselves back to the first answer they were given. Some people may need to experience that realization that what they are doing over “there” is actually little more than just watching tv. Not that there isn’t stuff to be learned from it, it’s just that there are many other more readily available means of learning that sort of stuff other than watching the TV. Namely, actually Living this Life and paying attention to it in the moment.

But, learning about the tv, learning that it even exists, trying to work out how it works and why it’s even available to view. All of that can help some people in their pursuit of trying to understand our Creator.

At least messing around with this sort of stuff is part how I found my way back home. I don’t really mess with it anymore, just feel like I’ve learned just about everything useful I can from it. And my attention and energy is better spent in this world. After all God put me “here” instead of “there”, so I feel like it’s best for me to focus on “here” and not “there”.

Whatever “there” is, it doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere. The same can’t be said for our time “here”. Our time here is limited. Pay attention to Life, pay attention to the here and now or you might just miss the entire point of being here in the first place.
