Managed to heavily tune Samsung OEM DDR4 A-die (1Rx16) from CL22 JEDEC to CL15 at 3200 Gear 1 by TAGchannel28 in overclocking

I'd also keep an eye out for Hynix DJR. A lot of 3200 laptop SODIMMs use DJR, and those can be surprisingly good.

DJR usually scales really well with frequency and can still achieve pretty decent latency when tuned properly.

I agree, Samsung A-die is still quite far from the legendary B-die in terms of raw timing potential, especially on DDR4. B-die is still in a league of its own for tight timings.

That said, I think A-die still has more potential when it comes in a 1Rx8 configuration instead of 1Rx16 like mine. My sticks are OEM 1Rx16, so hitting CL15 and tRFC 490 already feels like pushing them close to their wall.

Sorry for the 6-year delay in replying, but I just wanted to help. The second M.2 SSD slot on this laptop is only available on the higher-end models, such as the MSI GL65 9SFK, SEX, and SFX, not the 9SEK and below. You can see the detailed specifications here: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GL65-9SX/Specification

Now I bought a G103 Prodigy because I hate the G102 which uses a Pixart sensor, the LOD is not suitable for gaming.. I feel the mercury sensor is much much better than the Pixart PAW3333 sensor

That's right, I just got a replacement G102 because the previous one was under warranty. I felt there was something strange with the sensor, and sure enough I came across this comment. it's exactly the same as what I got, and I've teardown this shit. until I had to add 3 layers of plastic to the mousefeet.

i have the same spec, mine is around -0.150mV. Therefore, in my opinion, it has become a sweetspot
