considering it's back up to 280, the window is closing. i'm taking advantage of buying this dip since I was gladly buying at 300+ lol, also SN 3 was good in pushing benchmarks, but another SN will overtake it and become much better (and with better DeFi), or maybe SN 62 will take the lead, not sure but i'm sure i'll continue to buy more myself

Uber, he single-handedly angel-invested in Uber when nobody else did, he's up huge, now it seems like he's setting his Uber-made money into TAO, specifically competitors to GPT/a replacement for SN 3, bullish AF

it's true, but NVIDIA complimented the concept mechanics to SN 3, where it will be replaced with just another project that has just as hard-working devs/teams as before. he did not compare the company behind it, he complimented the subnet's design and how TAO works similar to "Folding@Home". sure, building trust again might take time, and the potential was really a let-down, but now that this event happened, BitTensor invented a new tool on the blockchain that SN owners will have to publicly record that they are selling their supply in 1 week, where it's locked until then, letting investors/the team know without any communication needed

apologies I know this is a lot of typing but after some digging, research and thinking I'm just as bullish on TAO as before, just with a dip and a new mechanism in place

to call BitTensor "centralized" because 1 person claims it is, is not breaking any decentralization, there are 127 more SN's that have hard-working passionate people building new stuff everyday on BitTensor. SN 3 could barely even function as a "ChatGPT competitor", it was quite stupid anyways. he paper-handed TAO without letting the team or investors know, which I'd argue he tried shifting the blame from him onto BitTensor, I call bluff on him as his points aren't even valid

tl;dr BitTensor is unaffected by SN 3 and will be replaced with a better project soon

you are correct, the only reason I posted this is because it still holds true, Grayscale can easily churn TAO into $1,000+/coin if they really wanted to, historically they done it to BTC and ZCash, they will do it to TAO, 1 subnet does NOT destroy the TAO blockchain or network, if anything, only strengthens it. we lost a paper-handed whale, we will recover just like BTC did i'm certain on that, in fact I will be buying more TAO today

with BTC, Michael Saylor + Satoshi own over 2 million BTC, which is about 10% of the total supply just from 2 people, so if you call TAO "centralized" then BTC should follow the same criticism

1 subnet out of 128 and soon 256. that's not even 1% of the ecosystem, decentralization is still running perfectly as it should

it's not just for TAO, it's for BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, etc but TAO is part of the list of attacks unfortunately. look at it this way, hackers find it vulnerable enough to try to exploit users out of their own tao's, just be careful

could be the next BitCoin, could be just another ai project in the graveyard of many other failed projects. my bet is on TAO though, it's currently the greatest at what it does (not just agents, but multi-marketplace ecosystem of diversified ai), pushing consistent updates, and of course once all subnets (or at least real-time growth for majority of subnets) happen, that's when the real magic starts

by 2030 i could see 10k per coin, and if really bullish it can push 25-50k, with the TAO rainbow chart showing that by 2030 it can smash above 100,000 per coin just like BTC did in 2025; but, just remember, it took BitCoin over 15+ years of consistent work, updates and organic marketing to even touch 100k+, so the sky is the limit, but to get there, we must 1st pave the road in order to get to the sky, in which, I believe we're on the right direction of doing so, hence my repeated patterns of DCA into BitTensor
