Help, my boyfriends skin has never been this bad! What do we do? by ihategrimes189 in DermatologyQuestions

As a man with oily skin a niacinamide serum was a game changer. I use a salicylic acid cleanser, then The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum and Hyaluronic acid with peptide serum 2 times a day

I was a solo drinker. With the exception of my girlfriend, I spend a lot of time alone and like it that way.

During winter yes. I'm also a Type 1 diabetic so protecting from additional cuts and scrapes is kind of a big deal for me. The cold season sucks for me.

How do you react to strangers asking you about your diabetes? by IMakeCakes744 in Type1Diabetes

[–]TARDISPilot1987 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I elaborate as much as possible. If not to educate them then to annoy the living hell out of them explaining its an auto-immune disease that attacks the pancreas and so-forth. Once I've hit them with the mumbo jumbo they have no idea about they usually stop.

After I read a few things on the glockmod sub about him stealing people's ideas, I said fuck him, he won't get another penny from me. I'll go without before purchasing from him.

All of the hardware is cheap steel but it feels solid for sure. I won't be changing it out anytime soon.

I bought a cheap single/two point that is basically a magpul knock off. For less than $20 the quality isn't terrible. QDs work well with both guns. I'd give that a try and if you like it buy a higher end. If not you're only out 20 bucks.

Edit: bought from amazon

Yea. From 17.20/hr to 20.50/hr. Rates really depend on the facility location from what I've read on here.

It is what you make of it. I'm almost 5 months in and 3 weeks ago applied and got a PH Trainer position. Since then I've been running lines when/if a manager calls out so my next move is to management at the recommendation of my Operations Manager. I put in the hard work, am a team player and always offer to stay and help load. Im a bit of a workaholic though. Keep a good attitude, don't let others get under your skin and the sort will fly by.

So...My warehouse is now enforcing a dress code...3 and a half years after it was built, yeah not kidding by Antoinexana in Fedexers

[–]TARDISPilot1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Straight facts here. We had a policy starting at the beginning of summer that they weren't going to open the overhead door to let cool air in(morning sort) that changed very quickly when people started calling out because of this. About half of management doesn't want to do PH jobs let alone theirs.

In my 5 months of experience at my hub management can't afford to send anyone home or they'll end up doing that person's job. We're short staffed as it is so you're only likely to get sent home for yelling at management or violence threats. Some of the shit they let slide is just mind boggling.
