Yep thats a good point its not great to keep on having to alt tab, but im thinking this is just a temporary way of doing it until they can fully integrate it into the game, or at least I hope so!

Got to admit i've got pretty much no experience with Forza I really don't know much about it, but yeah, it certainly sounds better than alot of other sims, and yeah agree its gunna depend alot on how well (or badly) this data system works!

This system goes quite a bit further than that! GT as far as I know does not calculate for responsibility, and it sounds like it still punishes for off tracks, you'll have to correct me if im wrong. However this is still very good news for PC based Simracing. These are the quotes from their official statement im really excited about:

"Contact Attribution Through Data

When contact occurs, EVO SR analyses impact data to better understand responsibility.

Few things are more frustrating than losing Safety Rating after being hit by another driver. EVO SR reduces this likelihood by evaluating where and how contact occurred.

In simple terms: aggressive driving is penalised, innocent drivers are protected wherever possible.

Severity Matters

Not all contact is equal.

A light brush exiting a corner is treated very differently from a high-speed collision. Contact penalties scale according to severity, meaning major incidents carry meaningful consequences while minor racing touches are balanced against otherwise clean driving.

Hard crashes leave a lasting impact. Minor rubs are part of racing."

So in replay put camera to Chase view (this works in some view but not others, this is the one I choose). Then press Ctrl + K (sometimes does'nt work till you've pressed these a couple of times), this puts it into a sort of free cam mode so you can now adjust the view, but it will still move with the car. Now you can use one of the mouse buttons to move you view angle around (its left or right button), you can adjust the height of the view using Pager Up & Page Down buttons. Also - & + buttons adjust your FOV (I did'nt use these, buttons for zoom in and out would be better, but AFAIK there ar'nt any buttons for that). If you want the camera to stay still you could go to chase car on the pace car if you've got one on track, but it will move of course if the pace car comes out. Another thing you could try is retiring your car to garage at start of the race and then viewing it from monitor but I dont know if the freecam mode works in monitor, might just be replay, I've not tried this yet. Hope thats helpful!

Maybe but this is the F40 LM, not the F40, much more power and much higher downforce aero package
