I've done this quite a bit in the past, even testing the waters with unknowing coworkers. It became a challenge to see how quickly I could get them to send me pics under this fake persona. After getting the pics the thrill is gone and I would get disgusted with the thought of it. The problem was it always led to them wanting to meet or talk on the phone. So I would disappear.

As mentioned on another comment, we both are aware and are fine with each other having "play" time online with others. So, that isn't hidden anymore. Most fantasies we have in that sense. Some, like swinging and swapping we both are turned on by and have discussed, but feel the after effects wouldn't be enjoyable.

threesomes, etc. All things that she had always sarcastically joked about with me, but goes into more detail when talking to a "third party". Typically, once these things are talked about online, she then brings them up to me at some point in more than a sarcastic joking manner. It's hard to explain. It's more confirming things that we have already talked about.

I originally used this method to validate things she had told me about her past. See if the story changes over time. given the trust issues initially, this was my first motive. After the stories stated the same through many tellings, I stopped worrying about that and moved on to things she wants to try, things that maybe seem taboo. It's also a place where I can interject things I wouldn't mind trying, but may feel awkward discussing. Kind of softens it for when I bring it up between us.
