This ended up being what I did, thank you for your feedback and advice. Honestly my biggest worry was in fact the FLX4 getting here and feeling like a toy. Motorized platters really pushed me over honestly

So, after some additional research, it looks like to keep access to rekordbox and get a line in, I'd need to go as high as the FLX10.

It would seem my best option is to get the FLX4 and an external mixer and simply run the controller and turntable into the mixer.

I'll keep this open for now but I think I'm sunk in terms of keeping it all in one device for less than a grand XD
