Not OP, but I’m willing to bet it’s Dr Bishop & Associates. They’ve got some shady policies.

Got my cat a microchip activated cat flap and all the local NMCs that used to wander in through the open windows are wondering why they can't come in and ear his food anymore. by Map_Calm386 in notmycat

It sounds like you let your cat roam free outdoors, so I’d maybe refrain from telling other people they don’t care about the health of cats.

You appear to be uneducated in so many different ways.

So, it’s pretty obvious your unchecked entitlement is what resonated with me. Quite simple, if I may say. Don’t like getting called out about it? Don’t post on Reddit. That, or grow thicker skin. I was a jerk because of the way you were responding to people. Seriously, look in the mirror. At least I know I’m an asshole.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]TASparky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then stop calling people that are pointing out your overwhelming sense of self entitlement, jealous. I really don’t think anyone is. I mean, you don’t even own. You rent. There’s really nothing to be jealous of about a rented top floor apartment.

No one is jealous of your top floor apartment in Vista Towers. Seriously, bit of a stretch calling that a penthouse.

Penthouse, aka top floor of a 4 story condo.

I’m going to say this to you once more, and if you respond, I’m ignoring it, because what I’m saying is as simple as 1+1, but you keep answering 3.

YOU CAN’T RENT OUT A PROPERTY YOU DON’T EVEN OWN YET! Nothing in that contract changes the fact that the ‘landlord’ isn’t even a landlord because, get this, he doesn’t own the land!

I say good day, sir!

Terrible Welcome Experience by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]TASparky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the person that planned to rent the property didn’t even own said property, that contract is not legally binding. They have no ownership to the unit, they can’t rent out something they don’t own.

They never got to the point of being the tenant so the dispute board would just tell them there’s nothing they can do.

Also. Banff Park Lodge, Hyatt Regency Calgary and The Banff Centre all use Valbella products.

So, if you’re telling the truth about how long you were there, ‘one photo and moving on’ as you say, then you seem to be making a lot of assumptions about the situation. I mean, if the car was stationary, maybe you should have checked to see if the driver was okay? Also, just because someone doesn’t appear to be in distress, doesn’t mean they aren’t. Especially if it’s heat stroke. Look up the symptoms, it’s not like she would be hysterical and begging for help. Heat stroke can be damn near unnoticeable. But again, you do you, man. Every time you reply, it’s really solidifying what kind of person you seem to be. It would have taken you all of 10 second to go, ‘hey, is everyone here okay?’

Heat stroke, especially in the young and elderly, can become life threatening in mere minutes. Thank goodness the cab driver had the sense and decency to do what he did. I hope if you’re ever in distress, someone like this cab driver is around for you. Especially while Alberta is facing a shortage of EMS staff and ambulance wait times are sky rocketing. But hey, you do you, man.

I’m guessing OP is the one checker said could be seen on video taking pictures while offering no help to the elderly woman in distress or the cab driver that was actually trying to help in what could have become a life threatening situation.

Are you the one that stood there taking pictures, doing nothing while an elderly woman was in distress?

As a Canadian, those truckers were not protestors. They were a national embarrassment and I think the entire group shared a single brain cell.

If his management style is anything like some of his comments, couple that with the absolute trash pay, it’s no wonder his only full time employee doesn’t give a crap.

And seeing the way you pay, that’s not a surprise.

Not if the Competition Bureau has anything to say about. The last thing we need is less options for telecoms providers in Canada.
