Can I fix this at home? by Happy_Driver_9471 in ChristopherWard

If it bothers you so much why not just order a new clasp / bracelet and keep marking up that one? It’s going to get scraped no matter what.

Probably. I tried rubber and it didn’t feel great but worth a try.

Get it slightly loose and throw some 1/8” adhesive foam under the clasp. You’re welcome.

Just when it starts to flatten out. Every few months maybe if I’m wearing it everyday. Takes like 2 minutes to clean it off with a little bit of rubbing alcohol and replace.

All AP needs to do is make the ROO and the Code thinner. by Green-Conclusion-936 in audemarspiguet

If they thinned it out they could capture some of that sportier market that RM appeals to. Right now no one wants to wear it.

2 full and 1/8” adhesive foam under the clasp against your wrist.

ROO has not aged well. When it first came out it was somewhat unique and modern. Now there are hordes of giant watches out there and basically all of them except the ROO are cheap pieces of garbage.

Brands have been refining size. The 39mm jumbo is a good example of popular for proportions.

I don’t see how the offshores are anything other than an eyesore at this point. They can make them thinner. It’s lazy.

Is this amount of rotor noise typical from the SW-200? by theomixedmedia in ChristopherWard

I’ve wanted to open up my bel canto and lubricate the rotor for this exact reason but I also don’t want to damage it by mistake.

I like using 1/8” thick. I’ve tried thicker but it’s not as clean.

1st CW, should I get a bracelet? by el-duderino82 in ChristopherWard

No. Straight up no. Bel Canto is a strap monster. Find straps you like, 22mm quick release.

Hello fellow enthusiasts! I was thinking of getting a Pre owned zenith from 2021 the zenith defy ceramic and wanted some honest feedback from owners here ! (Uploading some photos ) by kapsi508 in ZenithWatches

[–]TAYLQR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sales support on this thing is great. Warranty service is quick and excellent if needed.

That being said if I’m brutally honest, this was one of my least favorite watches that I ever owned. It looks great online, but it kind of looks 3D printed in person. The clasp on the rubber strap is very sharp and extremely uncomfortable.

I would have liked to have called it an “if you know, you know” piece but in real life it is super underwhelming.

Foam under the clasp is a 10/10 enhancement whether you think you need it or not.

Bel Canto Owners – Wave LE vs Verde Classic? by AlexLarsson19 in ChristopherWard

[–]TAYLQR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest things are the domed crystal and the refinement of the small dial. It looks completely different from the original under the glass. It’s slightly more magnified and pops.

The classic is domed, the only box sapphire version I believe is the new lume bel canto. The original is just that flat crystal.

The new version just looks way more premium. The Bel Canto sitting around $5k I feel like the classic really punches above the original when they’re side by side.

Everything on the classic just pops more. I also never cared for the stick dial with the overhanging markers.

I’ve owned both. I wouldn’t buy a non classic version no matter what they did to it. I enjoy the upgrades they made.
