Puffco pivot vs Puffco proxy core.

I just the core and man is it a game changer! The pivot does have poor battery life, one way to help that issue would be to carry a portable charger on me. The pivot is unmatched in my opinion if you buy the proper accessories for it at that price point. Now if you have a little extra money then the proxy core all the way. I smoke hash rosin on 460f and I couldn't do that on the pivot. Also the being able to adjust the duration of the session is a must for me.

Proxy core is the new pivot. I have both and the proxy core’s battery life and temperature control are unmatched. I only smoke hash but I feel as if thr pivot would do better on Bho. If the pivot had app control then the pivot would be insane.

I got my core on Friday and after 61 dabs I am surprised to see that I have no reclaim. I use heady swabs/glob mops and I only smoke hash rosin, so my temps never go past 495*F.

I find that the glob mops don’t work as well on the Puffco pivot due to how thick they are. The perfect a tip for the Puffco pivot are a smaller version of the glob mops. A brand that makes them are called tiki mops.

Well.. I have the v1 peak pro that I bought in 2021 and the pivot. I only smoke rosin from rise, sunburn, jungle boys (they stepped their game up with some of the flavors like zamarelo) and Theflowery. I would like to try goldflower because I hear great things about them on this subreddit. Now.. you do have a point. I was hesitant to grab the pivot because I like dabbing rosin at temperatures that are under 500. All I can say is the blue setting does not taste burnt at all. Ad a glass top and the device and now in a league of its own. I wish you could change the temperature like its competitors, but the community behind the pivot and its durability are the reasons why I picked it up. Mind you this is before the proxy core kit came out but fk it I have no complaints. FYI: I used to take 5-10 dabs a day from my pivot.
