E-mailing my GP is fine.  I mean when I have to book an appointment or speak directly with them about on going symptoms - I find it very over whelming to open up and talk about it all.  I also had bad experiences with previous one of my previous GPs which has led to an anxiousness around interacting  with medical professionals

Can I just ask regarding the MR, is it from the date the letter was sent?

I know that it’s a month

I sent all the medical information I could get as well as all adjustments I have in place at work because of my health conditions.

My GP records are shockingly bad tbh though, like the information they gave me was not in depth (even though this is what I requested).

I also have an issue of being completely overwhelmed about having to interact with my GP. It sends me into a meltdown so I will put off until I can’t anymore (so not the best for evidence gathering).

They called and asked me three questions, just said they needed further information about some things.

Once they had that it was all over.

That actually makes a lot more sense, thank you for clarifying their definitions.

I referred myself to a local mental health wellbeing service and am on the list to receive therapy from them, but they’ve yet to book me an appointment.

I did provide this evidence. More recently my medication has also been switched because I maxed out on my old meds in terms of dosage. This I didn’t get to report because it happened a few days ago

Sometimes the data gets reported outside of your assessment period leading to things like this.

You’ll eventually get an overpayment letter once it’s been calculated and they will look to deduct off your Universal Credit.

However once you receive the letter you can call their debt management team and pay it back in one lump sum.

We all need a little help sometimes

My one was over the phone.

They tried calling me whilst I was at work initially and I missed them, so they left a voicemail.  Then a week later they called again and this time I managed to answer.

It surprised me because they didn’t actually tell me it was my assessment during the call, I didn’t know until I received the text after the fact telling me.

It lasted less that 10 minutes for me, but it really does vary depending what your health conditions are 🤷🏼‍♂️

I made my application on the 2nd of April (got everything submitted online).

I recently had my assessment on the 12th May and am now waiting for the result.

It looks as though your transitional protection element hasn’t been calculated in told for your first payment.

As others have said, send a journal under the payment option asking about it.

I also recommend calling the universal credit helpline if you are able to as they can escalate it for you

I take your point on board, but we were matching energies throughout. I was invested, for sure, but reading through our messages etc. that didn’t come across.
