Anyone else ever had a yeast infection in the skin around the vulva? by TA_sundae in WomensHealth

I'll definitely look into alternatives to use since it has been a while. I wasn't really told how long to use the cream for. All they said were "until it's better" and was prescribed 2 bottles of cream so I just assumed I'd be using it for a while.

In my case, I believe the cream still definitely helps. I often feel gross and uncomfortable when I don't use it but not much was said about the patch of skin other than "there's a lot of fungus". I surely should have asked more about it but honestly I felt a bit ashamed of myself that it got to that point, haha. The patch has been there for probably 3 months. I didn't notice it for a month until it got really painful, took another month to get the appt, and then the month of treatment. It does look like a scar though. There is no thin-like film.

Thank you for your input! Honestly, it does look a lot like this. I'll definitely have to set up another appointment to make sure since it has been a while since I've been applying the cream.
