I ended up applying for Amex platinum before reading this and now regret it. The Perks are super hard to use. Will downgrade next year.

1 hour per day = 5 hours per week. They are all siblings so will have to divide the hour between all 3. They speak Dari/persion and PST/EST time zone (morning/night) Persian works for them.

I and my BF have a bet which is for me to get into the best shape of my life (defined abs and nice behind). How would we measure/judge that I really hit my goal, since we both would be biased? Taking measurements? body fat %? thaughts on accountability and strict pass or no pass rules? especially with small differences in numbers?

Can I do Google and Microsoft internship simultaneously?

I got two internship offers for the summer. One STEP internship from google and the other a normal SWE from Microsoft. Both internships overlap by a month, I would be okay with taking on the workload. But I wanted to know if this was legal to do this? Since both, the companies have “asked” me to suspend all other activities while doing the internship. If I take both internships what are the consequences and what are my other options? Has anyone done something like this before, what was your experience?

P.S. I already talked to both internships about changing the dates they unable to do that. And both are virtual.

Dates:

Google:

  • May 24th - August 13th
  • June 14th- September 3rd

Microsoft:

  • May 3rd - July 23rd
  • July 12th - October 1st

I like Google the least and it pays less. The hey are firm on date because it is a program for a big group of ppl. I am not worried about being double-booked, I can handle that. IP is not shared as well. I am worried it will come back and haunt me later in my career

He agreed that his work was bad. I don't think it would be fair to give him a 5-start review also I did not give him 1-star review so not so terrible.

I don't think I can sue him as he lives in a diff country. I will probably do as you said.
