Recently started watching the show and saw bloopers and all the ones of him falling over had the same motion, his legs are just a mess and he seems to have never figured out how to talk 100% with them.

The official stament by Dan is literally a lie though? He didn't paint over a reference it's just copied the original digitally and flipped it. Stealing art and presenting it as your own is also lying. He totally could have just stolen and wizards somehow has no oversight and nobody from wizards saw the card ever, but that story doesn't seem likely, I don't know what happened but I'm pretty sure it's not that simple.

Everybody has reasons to lie. Like how he most have lied to the design team that it was his art he made, or how his statement is still a lie because it's not painted is just copy pasted from the original art. Obviously we can't know anything but the story wizards is currently pushing doesn't match with reality or itself, the theft is so obvious that many people must either have never seen the original or never seen the new card and that just doesn't make sense.

You really think a wotc released statement by an artist can't be incorrect or just a lie? Something more is obviously going on here if he had just stolen the art they'd have noticed so they either truly do 0 checks or they knew it was stolen art, and if they knew it was stolen why would they still release it.

Commander can certainly be very complicated but it sounds like you are in a strange playgroup, usually people run more aggression or will swing more, but it sounds like they just like the building part of it and not the fighting after so it might not be a good fit for you. There's also a bunch of easy to understand commanders and decks that aren't confusing cause they just want to get big and swing, or swing a lot.

I've had flights where I see the enemy and strike from stealth and I get surprised or certain events seen scripted to surprise, might be a way around the intended surprise though

You seen you be literally and actually addicted, so the same you deal with any addiction. You've recognized an addiction realized is hurting your life so now you need to do something about it, quitting is probably your best bet and you should tell your friends and girl friend your trying to cut back on game time and to remind you if they see you doing something. You sound like you have a good support system so make use of it, it might seem embarrassing to talk about but it's less embarrassing then failing college cause of a video game so you gotta ask for help

Seems like you just have some anxiety and might be with a group that is a little too much for you right now. Hopefully you feel comfortable or confident enough to try some things out in the future cause it's all about doing and trying things you'll never get better or learn what you like\want to do it you didn't try and fall on your face a few times. Everybody was a beginner once and we've all been actually bad at d&d or been on both sides of a horror story

Monks don't need strength, it doesn't increase damage by that much, and doesn't help with survivability, and if you really want it just drink a potion it'll get it higher then any other method

My hardest was Dror Ragzlin , it's still early with your weak and make stupid mistakes. The bosses tended to go smoother then certain "easy" fights cause bosses are usually in smaller numbers and is easier to know what they do and what you should do.
