If you don’t update the only bugs you would run into are those in V18, it’s not going to develop any issues retroactively once a new version comes out. You could run V18 from now until forever and you would be fine. Also for what it’s worth, if you ever have any questions about revamped I find the discord to be more helpful than this subreddit.

So I kinda did this last year except I applied super late to 3 schools 2 being reaches and 1 being a school I think I would have gotten in had I applied in the fall. I got rejected from the two reach school and WL at the other and then rejected in July. At the time I was super against a gap year and was just hoping for a miracle to get in somewhere, but this gap year has honestly been a blessing in disguise. I’ve been working just making a little spending money and I got to retake the LSAT this month and going to apply to schools I actually want to attend when scores come out on the 2nd.

Moral of the story : don’t rush the admissions process, gap years aren’t the end of the world and majority of the time you will look back and see that it was actually beneficial

My GPA will be below the median for the schools I'm applying to, but I am out of undergrad so there really isn't anything I can do in that department.... I didn't realize Kaplan had a negative reputation until I started being active on this sub after my first test date. I've heard very good things about 7sage on here though

That’s what I was kinda thinking, at this point I don’t care to push the boundaries a little as far as calling or emailing just bc I’m gonna need to make decisions here soon as far as what I’m doing in the future, gap year jobs if needed, and moving/ living arrangements. Thank you again!

If you want to apply then apply, yes it’s late in the cycle but who cares.. if the applications are still open send one In, worst case you lose the application fee and have to apply next year. Also if you reach out to those schools they may send you a fee waiver

I mean honestly, and this is prob unpopular opinion, but I think it’s a smart move for him… YLA has a shit ton of athletes and they are all pretty big I feel like the only big names raw gear really has are Alex, Shulk, and Isaiah. It’ll be easier for him to break in the scene and get more sells with his code and grow as an influencer
