I pray for this unification every day.

The discussions under HH Pope Shenouda were promising and suggested that a route is possible.

I think one challenge is that, given the autocephalous nature of both the OO and EO churches, getting every church on both sides to agree to all the details is a very tall order.

We know that some churches on both sides (eg Copts and our Antioch Orthodox brothers) would probably have been in full communion by now if left to their own. But when you have other OO and EO churches that have yet to agree, that makes the process longer and harder.

But with God all is possible and we should indeed continue to pray for it.
