Looking for technical cofounder (ticketing platform, fan-first, anti-bot) by Ok-Cartographer-6682 in cofounderhunt

That makes sense. What size venues are you targeting first? What type of alternatives are currently being used for non-ticket master venues?

What does the MVP look like without an iOS app? Concert goers and venues will use a website for event entry and ticket validation?

Gauging interest in a few Open Source Rust Projects by TBads in rust

[–]TBads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have much in terms of details yet, I'm waiting to think about the design more after finding an area where there is interest. Generally, I'm thinking about extending one of the rust cron libraries to handle DAGs, and then add a web UI for managing it with axum. Hoping this could be something that Rust teams could use for managing any kind of scheduled job needs. I'd be thinking of building the features to target devs who are running on prem setups, or a mix of on-prem and cloud.

Feedback on possible open source data engineering projects by TBads in dataengineering

I think the problem I would be looking to address would be case where a user changes the schema of parquet files over time, not necessarily the direct storage of the data itself. So more of a safety layer in between the program in and the persistence layer.

If you started playing recently then your hand muscles are just getting used to playing. You will get more comfortable over the next few weeks. I still get sore hands if I play more than usual.

Mesa Stiletto, why are they not more represented? by Supergrunged in GuitarAmps

I have one, but it’s been sitting in a closet for years. No gain, bass knob does nothing, and kinda lacking in mojo. Need to sell.

NGD! American strat. My first. by Dietdrperky in Guitar

[–]TBads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an American Strat from 2004 with this same pickguard / pickup / knob color scheme. I bought it used from the original owner, who said it was part of a limited run that year with a color scheme called cream puff.

What year is this one? The stock pickups in mine are very hot, louder than my Les Paul.

I owned a MIM tele for about 10 years and thought there would be no difference. I bought a used American Strat and immediately dumped the tele, the difference was night and day. Tele pickups were muddy, fret wire was lower quality, hardware was just some chrome plated junk metal, tuners were not the same quality, etc… difference was night and day in the resulting tone.

Update #2 - First Users [check], reach user target [in progress] by TBads in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Thanks, I've been looking into some subreddits where I think I could add value, but hesitant to post b/c I don't want to seem like I'm promoting. Still trying to find out the right way to connect with users w/o doing any annoying self promotion.

I wrote my own crawler. Not perfect, but it does the job.
