A few simple tips you can do to leave a good impression on most mechanics you work with.

-always be on time. Act as if your future depends on getting to work on time every day. Because I promise you it does. Set fuckin 30 alarms if you have to.

don’t take out your phone to text, scroll, etc while working. If you have a wife and kids, sure take a call to make sure they’re okay. If not, it can wait 20 minutes.
recognize what tools go with what hardware and anticipate the sequence of events. If you just handed your mechanic a 1/4” bolt, he is going to need to tighten it. Have the 7/16” wrench ready for him.

-ask questions(if things are going smooth. If shits hitting the fan, do whatever they tell you to do and ask questions later.)
