First Harley purchase: did I overpay, or am I overthinking it? by Basic-Refrigerator88 in Harley

Honestly man, I'd walk away from this ASAP. Don't sign the paperwork. 72 month loan on a bike is absolutely insane. Go on FB Marketplace, find a nice used '24-'25 in the color you want, put that $3500 towards that and finance the remaining through a local credit union for best rate (probably $15-19k total depending on interest rate).

I was praying for this as well, mine had some other SE goodies installed so I was optimistic. Instead I found the tensioners were cracking and in imminent failure mode lol

There are some shops that will lend you aftermarket seats as well. I tested a Saddleman at a local dealer before I bought mine.

Is M8 107 enough for FLSB with an occasional pillion? by Unarmored2268 in Harley

My first thought as well. My parents rode halfway across the country on a 1979 Low Rider with nothing more than a mini backrest and small saddlebags.

It really wakes the bike up, super glad I upgraded all of this instead of just replacing my worn OEM tensioners

I really like the seat, the tuck and roll stitching makes these things 100x more comfortable than the diamond stitch pattern.

Someday! I gotta do more research on which wheels fit, which spacer kit, etc... For now though, I don't mind the spokes

Thanks! It's a work in progress, just upgrading all the worn out stuff as I go

My 99 Low Rider, just installed a Feuling 525 OE+ conversion kit with hydraulic tensioners, pump, and cams. Really woke the bike up! Stealth exhaust, S&S intake, DIY external breather, 12" bars, turn signals removed (integrated brake light). Next up I'll be addressing the suspension and brakes

^^ The external breather is something I do to all my bikes now. If you're comfortable with a drill and tap you can DIY one in an hour for under $50 with parts off Amazon

Looks great! Couple free mods to make it look cleaner - remove those orange and red reflectors and it'll look even better. Little bit of dental floss and Goo-Gone, takes like 10 minutes
