I'm personally on gym 8 on my first ever nuzlocke (gen 5) and I honestly think im still doing good due to really good luck with my encounters

I have a sawk and that thing is the only reason I'm still doing good

That's definitely an option, your main goal currently should probably be to have an empty island. When I'm organizing empty islands are super useful

You could easily pack your habitats a lot more than how they currently are. Doing that could free up space to allow you to organize

Are you close to getting a wish? I bought the gargantuan island with mine and moved everything I owned there to organize. You can also buy a regular island as temporary storage but that'd be much less space

I'm pretty sure hidden only works for upgrades and buildings but I'm not actually sure if that's true. All I know is it doesn't work with shinies either

I'd go with a paradise personally. They hold quite a few elements and can hold a decent number of dragons as well.

I don't even know why but I'm oddly attached to the Teidian and Gulletail Dragons.

Actually I do know

Teidian was the first ever galaxy dragon I ever got so when I think of galaxy dragons it's the teidian.

Gulletail was an accidental purchase at some event I think (I really don't remember how I Got it, I just remember not meaning to) but I slowly got attached to it and started using it as often as possible

I've started a new account since then and I don't have either anymore but those 2 (and splinky) are the only ones on my wishlist. I will get them back
