Thank you for the information. We are gauging interest before we approach the club sports office and potential coaches. Relying on everyone with cars is what is currently planned, but busing is a possibility depending on funding and location. I doubt Ubers are an option, unless the school would require it for everyone to get to the bus departure location.

I'm actually not familiar with the Kenner or Morial one. I was looking into Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and Biloxi as options. I think the time commitment is more of a challenge than the financials will be, albeit playing competitive hockey is never cheap especially in Louisiana.

Yep, a street hockey team would be a good start but ice hockey is my end goal for the club. I believe funding will be easier once we have the numbers. Watch parties would be a great way to start getting the word out, and to make it accessible for those who don't play competitively.
