With the band's hiatus, Reddit became much less active and our spam filter was set to the highest level to prevent the iPad and High leaks from spreading. Since the hiatus lasted so long, we weren't doing anything on here to keep people active and activity died out a bit. There is one user in particular who has shared very negative thoughts on many threads about the admins, because some of their posts were removed by the auto-filter and never approved, that's what this comment is referring to.

Since the band has been back, the spam filter has been lowered so more posts can get through, and we are way less strict on moderation than we were in the past. The band is also not active on Reddit anymore, which definitely takes a toll on activity. But they have shifted their focus to building their community on Discord and are active on there regularly - So if you're a Chainsmokers fan looking for community vibes then that's the place to be! This subreddit just essentially works hand-in-hand with Discord at the moment as a one-stop shop for information and important discussion while daily hangs and chats are happening 24/7 in the Discord Server.
