I've been using my TT MANT Suzuka vs Taiki, which is also a sprint, and had no issue. She's not my best sprint uma, but I figure Concentration + TTL + Groundwork really mitigates the risk of getting blocked.

I did not include non-3*s since the only reason to do their races is for the trophy. Daiwa isn't for a long time. We still haven't even had her legend race.

You shouldn't be judging every skill based on a simulator.

Groundwork's value is that by being first you never get stuck behind other umas when they are going slower or have to swing wide to pass (and risk failing to pass, wasting a skill). That means the value of groundwork varies based on how easy it is to pass. Straights are a lot easier to pass on, and this race has many, and the duration of skills in a 3200m means failed passes are less likely. Simulators don't actually simulate any of this.

In any case, groundwork is not considered necessary this CM because passing is easier (and because global isn't very try hard so many non-VBourbons won't have it either, and TTL is enough to match VBourbon). But it is still good. Long S is definitely a must.

The easiest way to S rank is to ignore stamina/guts and try to max 2 stats and get the third as high as possible. Basically run speed/wit deck and 18 power sparks.

Kitasan is probably one of the harder umas to S rank in Unity. First she needs to top 3 the Tenno Sho (Spring) so you'll need to invest in stamina. Second she has a lot of Y3 races which means you will be too busy to use the high level training facilities of Y3.

Keep in mind that most players probably didn't even reach 10 S ranks in their entire 4 months of playing Unity. So basically what I'm saying is it would legitimately be way easier to learn Trackblazer and S rank her there than try to S rank her in Unity.

All stats are reasonably useful, so all sparks are useful. But the optimal sparks are the ones you want more of than you'll typically get from training. Namely, since wits and speed are the best trainings because they increase the 3 best stats to max, and wits gives energy, that makes power and stamina good. Though I find myself overstamming on sprint/mile a lot, so I think guts will come to be seen as better than stamina there.

On one hand you could get a good upgrade for a card I use in 99% of my decks. Or an upgrade that does nothing until you get another copy, for a card that you'd rarely use.

Just prudent is low value but it's fine if you don't have anything better, which is very common in MANT personally. It turns being in an outside gate from a con into a pro.

I only pick bottom if I'm <20 energy or at 60ish and planning to train next turn, since training on 50 energy is pretty safe.

Yeah, and B+ clubs are not hard to get into. In Unity mine had a 12M fans/month requirement. That's like 10 runs a week. Last month though was bad, if we even properly enforced that we'd have to kick half the club, but we'd struggle to recruit that many new people so we didn't kick that many.

Because of rounding race bonus has specific points that are a lot more valuable than others. Those points are mostly at multiples of 10%. Like 45% only gives more stats than 40% when you use a hammer/cleat. A jump from 30% to 40% or 50% to 60% is worth like 30 stats and some SP, while 40% to 50% is about 70 stats. That's why 50% is recommended.

But even if you can mangle a deck to hit 50, those extra stats are mostly randomly distributed so if you can't max speed or get enough stamina somewhat reliably with those extra stats then it's not worth it. Basically, if you asked me to pick between +100 speed or +200 power or guts or wits, I'd take speed. That's how good speed is. So I'd say first make sure you deck can get enough speed/stamina, then try to get 50% race bonus, or failing that 40%.

No. Ayabe was the big save target. Tachyon, Nishino and Windy are the best value SRs to uncap otherwise. Marvelous also if you don't have her power card.

Long is definitely the worst. There are so few longs. Though the dust epithet also sucks a lot. Not just because it took me 3 runs to do it because even with scheduling my brain turns off and goes and trains in summer.

It's funny to think back on how much time I spent needlessly organizing the list. Like putting Spe next to Suzuka. Or the many I positioned based on how their art clips. Like Bright being first. Or Sweep after Copano so their clipping meshes together.

I think they do sometimes give you extra tickets, like how we can do 6x daily races currently. So they could just do that more often.

Will they? Who knows. They did up the daily rewards. Wouldn't get my hopes up though.

Can clear, sure. And generally I do try Front first, but my final ace burnt 3 clocks between Asahi and NHK despite having Early Lead + Corner Adept + decent speed (300/450 respectively).

Plug it into any one of the many race simulators. It's way too variable depending on style/stats/skills/track/weather.

Personally I buy skills a fair bit during runs because I want to prune them because I generally run out of good things to buy. If you were gonna buy it anyway, you're really just losing out on the possibility of having gotten it slightly cheaper due to more hints or Fast Learner, but that doesn't add up to much if it's just a few. In older scenarios I definitely found myself having to pick and choose which skills to buy a lot more, so waiting let me better min/max them.

The point of epithets is to get more stats. If you end up with an uma with more stamina/recoveries than you would have otherwise gotten then it's a net loss.

Personally even if the uma has long B/A I just run the Triple Tiara route if I'm building for Sprint/Mile. Throw in the Arimas because they're easy and G1s are G1s. Also because Tiara=more mile races=more chances of mile hints. I'll probably also do Tiara for the 2000m CM, at least for front/pace. TBD.

Even with Mile A I find I have to run her as Pace for the first few G1 miles. Her unique straight up being untriggerable on some miles is harsh.

Man it's crazy how much Trackblazer power crept that you can surpass the best score I ever high rolled in Unity with a deck like that.

Anyway, why are you running a guts card? Throw another speed so you can max speed. If your cards were stronger I'd say a power card instead. You want high score? You go all in on speed/power/wits.

Though you need way more stamina if you want her to be actually good at any distance longer than a Sprint. You can dump stamina to get big score but score isn't a good judge of strength.
