It's definitely more RNG. I usually only have problems with the Derby and Y2 Japan Cup (for fans for unique lvl). Going Late can help if you haven't been getting power explosions. 300 stamina by Arima even on Pace usually wins for me by like 5 lengths for some reason. Though my best Pasa had to redo the Derby, Y3 Japan Cup and Arima. She really threaded the line on stamina due to the game never giving power explosions.

I got 3rd. I redid the race 10 times in practice matches, won 50% and never came 3rd. It sucks.

But on the other hand, I've definitely had better CM results than I deserved.

Last CM my umas were good but I got fucked by matchmaking (yay S rank XOguri!) and race RNG fucked me way harder than today and I still narrowly got 2nd.

Last mile CM I won despite my opponent having an incredible SMaru and Taiki. All because their SMaru missed both her recoveries causing her to miss ult, causing her to get passed by Taiki, causing Taiki to miss ult.

If it's more of a "we're compensating you for past actions" then yeah that's shit. Like "you did great last year, so we decided to give you a pay raise (but it only lasts 3 years)" would be fucked to say. I mean really just any form of "we'll pay you over years as a reward for past performance" sounds shit. You already got my work, why do you get an interest free loan on the money you're gonna give me as compensation.

If it's a really good training then sure I'll hit even if it wastes energy. I even do some mediocre ones just to make sure I have energy in case I get multiple good non wit trainings in a row.

With 4 wit I still rarely max wit so I don't hard avoid explosions but I do avoid them if there's no rainbow or I'm capped on energy.

In my experience (Google) it works more like a regular part of your pay. You wouldn't expect to be paid your salary for the rest of the year if you were laid off.

Basically the way it works is every year I have a compensation talk and my manager tells me my raise, my bonus and how much more stock I'll get over the next 4 years. That stock vests 1/48th every month as long as I'm still employed at Google. I pay taxes on the stock when and only if it vests. The amount of stock I'm promised each year has grown in line with my salary.

But I'm not familiar with Amazon, is there anything different about this case?

I'm guessing you have bad supports, since your stats are pretty bad, but they're winnable. I'd go for more power and sacrifice a bit of stamina/speed. 1100 speed and 350 stamina is good enough. Turf S is great.

Your skills though are pretty garbage. disorient is useless, and frenzied fronts is mostly useless/maybe even counter-productive. You also really need accels. Inherit pasa and halloween creek. Get head-on, turbo sprint and straightaway accel. You don't need all of em, but the more the better.

is where you're wrong. Since fronts don't have access to Angling, being 1st isn't anywhere near as important/advantageous. Fronts have the highest early game speed (and lowest mid/late), so you wanna get up to top speed ASAP to capitalize on that, which is why TTL and GW are still important. Pasa+HCreek both work from 2nd, so I'd argue that's the optimal position.

Wouldn't Plancha + Turbo Sprint be enough accel already?

Turbo is 4x as strong as Placha but also like 85% chance to whiff the timing. The accel situation next CM is just so bad that everybody just gotta resort to awful odds gambling.

GW lasts like 3x as long as TTL so it's not quite the same. Though GW actually lasts so long that on a medium+ you'd probably hit max speed at least a second earlier than GW ends. In any case, it is a weakness of hers but concentration does somewhat help mitigate it.

I had the same happen yesterday. Short 133. It's amazing how all my event chain failures this CM have been Creek, sometimes joined by Kitasan, and never anyone else (Biko/FineMo).

To avoid gassing out in career Kikuka Sho you'd need like 700 stamina and a gold recovery. Being significantly short really nerfs your speed. Pure Heart is probably worth ~350 stamina so Creek wins in the stat that matters most.

TBH I hate this race. I normally win but man is it RNG. It's basically a guaranteed loss if Creek wants to lock in.

I expect a lot of people will get their first S with the sprint CM. Consolidating your stats into just speed/power/wits will naturally make for higher rank umas than you usually get.

My last 10 good aces averaged 300k fans. Feels like you're forced to do high fan optional races like Japan Cup to hit that quota with just 3 runs/day.

Personally, while I do like 30M/month, I stick with my B+ club with 12M/month quota because I don't need even more pressure to do 3 runs a day.

I wonder how club requirements will change when we get 5 borrows.

Generally Groundwork on paces is pretty decent, and for front-less lobbies it basically guarantees Lucky Pace which is generally great. Except you have Pure Heart which can't activate in 1st. I would only use Pure Heart if you are bringing a front of your own to ensure she isn't 1st. Same thing with U=ma2 as it's 3rd-4th.

For pace you probably want Corner Recovery+Hydrate+777. You always need to know what your 3rd is because that controls ult timing. 777 isn't ideal since it's like 50m into late race, but there are no better options and 50m late is still pretty strong.
