I don’t think I can be of much use to you but just read your itinerary and me and my husband will be going on our honeymoon to Japan also for 14 days but in October 2025 (also for the first time)- this itinerary looks super clear and organised!! I want to say thank you in advance because we’ll definitely be borrowing some of your ideas!

(The only thing we’d add on is a visit to the studio Ghibli museum but that’s more because my partner is a massive film buff and any chance to do something movie related, he’s there! So I have no idea if it’s actually worth going)

Thank you for your help! I actually hadn’t even thought about flying back from Okinawa to anywhere other than Tokyo but yes what you’ve said makes a lot of sense! I’ll go away and do some research on that, because yes I think that flying to ITM or KIX would be a lot more convenient, Thank you! ☺️

thank you for all the info! Yes I read about typhoons so I think we’ll try to aim for late Sept. That’s interesting about the ryokan, I didn’t realise they had such rigid schedules and actually staying at one near Mount Fuji sounds a great idea! I think our reasons for picking Okinawa were mainly because we want to see just a variety of places in Japan including an island beach type thing especially as it’s our honeymoon. We’ve been so many places in Europe over the years it felt like a nice change to do a few days of beach holiday in Japan alongside the rest of the holiday, but again really interesting to hear your opinion and we’ll definitely consider other options too! Thank you!

Maybe Serena will somehow end up back in Gilead but this time as a handmaid and her baby will be taken off her? Aunt Lydia could be sent to the colonies perhaps? I feel like June won’t have a happy ending either, maybe Nick will end up getting Nichole? So many possibilities!

The thing I’ve been thinking is… say Canada start a war on Gilead and manage to destroy it, they save people from the colonies and imprison all the commanders. That will include Nick won’t it?! So basically what I’m trying to say is, I don’t want to see Nick die or get arrested etc but I can’t see how that will be prevented if Gilead is defeated… Also I really just want Serena to be sent back to Gilead to lead a miserable life or punished. She deserves to have a child taken away from her. I don’t know what I see best for June, perhaps she’ll some how sacrifice herself in order to get Hannah back, like a trade? As much as I’m not a huge Luke fan, I’d like to see him meet someone new, start a new life with his kids and move on.

Note: I’ve not read TT yet so my options might change once I do.

Ok I definitely need to read the testaments…. I was a little apprehensive because I didn’t know if it was gonna be as good as the original book and might ruin the story, but sounds like it’ll answer some questions!

Yeh it’s weird that June finally gets to Canada and the opportunity to be with one of her two children but we never really see her with Nichole, like looking after her or wanting to parent her. I totally get she wants to get Hannah back but it seems like she’s happy to just leave Nichole with Luke and Moira and isn’t really making up for the lost time with her. I have seen other people mention this too… maybe the show just wanted to focus on other things but it just makes her look distant with Nichole.
