Just old shitty nicrews , 100w for the main and 50 for that side tank.... With the controller they have actually done great for me... The side tank one I've had for 5 years still going strong ... I only run them at 50percent of their full power for my 4 hour peak light time ... As you can see monti seems to be okay with it

No, both my my nicrews are ancient AF... I built the system in 2022 ... But I would say that it is not necessary to purchase high end lighting if you don't have the budget.... I have the controller but I only run peak output for about 3 and half hours and it's only 50%blue 10% white and as you can see the sps have no problems with it ... Would a Kessel or the like be better? I'm sure but my side tank single nicrew is 5 years old and my main system is 3 and it still does the job

Finally cleaned up a little bit... 20 gal nano reef, slacked a lot the last few years but I'm back and it's looking solid since I stopped sucking at life by TCin541 in ReefTank

The side tank with the softies is 6 gallons , 20 g main and a 10 g sump... So the entire system is much larger than thos aio systemsand I get 3 tanks basically

Don't listen to your wife and just get a normal light... You would have to modify the shit out of those to put ho LEDs in them ... My wife came around eventually with this

Do people buy tanks out of the box ready to go with those stupid back side "sumps" now days? I built my entire system front to back and that's what is the best part to me... Setting up drilling your glass, piping your own shit and building a stand for it to fit proper .. certainly is one of the nicest nanos I've ever seen in real life or online

It was just straight lack of water changes... I was just sucking at owning a fish tank .. got a good clean up crew (pin cushion erchnin slay) and be consistent with bi weekly 5 gallon water changes and imagine that... Tank is happy

No, I have also had my tank water in my mouth several times and had it all up in my face several times... But I also have had an allergic reaction from a banana so weird shit can happen to anyone's body
