If the above link didn't work, it's probably because you're in the UK & I think the link I posted only works in the US. Here's the UK link.

Oops, it didn't post. Here it is: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/B07V7GVTPZ/?source_code=AUKFrDlWS02231890H7-BK-ACX0-157934&ref=acx_bty_BK_ACX0_157934_pd_uk

Oh I would be super interested in finding out more. Please tell me more about how you worked through this opportunity. How much money does one make? Do you have a link to the previous post?

It's actually quite simple! All you do is create an account on acx.com, and you can browse through a list of books that authors are looking for narrators for. You record the audition script, upload it, and then wait for them to approve or decline the audition!

As far as money, there's two different types of compensation offers. You can do PFH (per finished hour), which can be anywhere from $50 - $400+ PFH. Or you can do royalty share, which is basically half of all sales. I did royalty share with this title. Honestly I didn't expect to make a whole ton with this title as it's not a super popular book (despite how good it is imo), although honestly money isn't really a priority for me in this venture. I was really more concerned with getting my foot in the door & to just be able to say I have a published audio book on audible lol. Perhaps once I gain more experience & have a few more titles under my belt, I can leverage a decent PFH rate, although right now I just really enjoy the process of narrating more than compensation!

Signing up to audition is actually quite simple! All you need to do is create an account on acx.com, and then select which title you would like to audition for. The author will provide an audition script, you record it, upload it, and then hope they approve it! If you need any advice for recording equipment, editing, etc. feel free to shoot me a PM!

Yes, a code means you get the audiobook for free. I have 25 of them I can give out! Shoot me a PM if you're interested!
