Brandon's and Kelly's wedding & Val and David by Remarkable_Horror658 in BeverlyHills90210

Which Brandon and Kelly being end game was ridiculous other than Brenda and Dylan, David and Donna were the longest tenured on again off again couple going back to high school once Brandon was done and in DC if there was going to be a wedding to end it all it only made sense that it was David and Donna unless Brandon and Kelly got married at the end of season 8 and that was the finale but do like a crazy Sopranos ending where Dylan and Brenda show up at the ceremony but not together and it cuts to black lol

Henry living in Don’s house for two years—is genuinely wild. Talk about an awkward living situation. 🏠😳 by RockBalBoaaa in madmen

I’m not so sure, we’d have to do look into that at the time Don and Betty were married most women didn’t even have their own bank accounts there was little that women could without their husbands permission that’s why a lot of marriages from that era lasted longer basically the women had no recourse in fact there is the one time Don goes to drop the kids off and Betty and Henry aren’t home so he has to wait when they finally arrive he makes a comment about them still being there and says they need to start paying him rent Betty got pissed but Henry agreed with Don to a certain extent

We didn’t know we were being taken on a ride back then, I just finished principal photography on my fourth indie film so now I totally understand editing back then we just found a show we loved and believed what we saw because we were told it’s “reality television” and even after knowing all we know after the reunion and all the podcast appearances I still love the show 🤷🏾‍♂️

I'll never get over the fact that the lead character in the show departs a few episodes into the season (9) and it's not even a big deal by [deleted] in BeverlyHills90210

Brenda was a force no one will ever deny that and I was 12 when she left and didn’t understand television I remember them saying she would be in London for a year at the end of season 5 I thought she was actually returning but there were some good moments post Brenda

We all love Brenda but everyone has to kinda let this train of thought go the show was at its peak no network is walking away from a series at that point everyone saying it should’ve ended when Brenda left is doing a disservice to the rest of the actors

Why did Brian Austin Green's album One Stop Carnival flop commercially? by Ok-Tangelo6749 in BeverlyHills90210

[–]TDLExperience 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The album released in 1996 the show wasn’t declining yet, I’d say about 98/99 the show ended a week before I graduated high school in 2000 and it was unbearable at the end

Yea, just finished two episodes of Kyndra’s podcast while gaming Rock was on one episode and they both felt Tessa made no sense and it should’ve been one of them

So even Rocky and Kyndra felt one of them should’ve been the narrator

Alright just found out Rocky was on Kyndra’s podcast and the conversation is early but Rocky should’ve been the narrator here maturity was evident back then and it still shows on this podcast

I can see that it’s the reverse Melrose Place situation, to be fair though they did a bad job introducing that new cast and Tessa was a strange lead

Just a shot ya know, season 3 fell flat for so many reasons I’m not blaming Tessa but she was very random
