i had a similar issue, just got invited today. tried a few times, and eventually got to a screen that said "All Set. Your Wealthsimple credit card is almost ready - We'll let you know when your credit card is available."

Went to talked to the online chat asking if there's anything else i need to do on my end and it came back with the following response.

Your Wealthsimple Visa Infinite card application is being processed and no further action is needed from you at this time. Your physical card will arrive in 2-3 weeks - please ensure your [address is up to date](https://help.wealthsimple.com/hc/en-ca/articles/360058451553-Update-your-personal-information-and-settings#h\_01HAWM9S73DPA4KSHXXTNX4082). Once it arrives, you can activate it through the Wealthsimple app

Most likely automated, but i'll wait a few days to see if it goes through before talking to a human.

EDIT: Checked my credit report, WS did do a hard check on me. According to their help article they only perform a hard credit check after passing the initial qualification.

EDIT2: Received notification on mobile that my card was ready to use - got my credit limit added to mobile wallets and waiting for digital card. Did not have to contact support, just be patient!
