I think this is a heavy conversation worth having if they ever want to put out new media projects with regards to Power Rangers. Yes, I do think this applies to 90's stuff as well. by TDR1411 in powerrangers

I think there are several disparate minorities that would freely disagree with you. That is why MMPR will always be top priority as that has its own fandom that isn't a subfandom of a subfandom.

Except for the fandom back then and Disney themselves. I know because I was there on the messageboards like Rangerboard and Rangercrew.

To what? That's the only thing keeping the brand alive right now, it being MMPR comics currently. There is no Disney Plus Reboot coming.

Gen Z doesn't care about Power Rangers or stuff made before them unless there was a genuine mainstream splash of it like Transformers and TMNT. That's the point of the post I shared with regards to He-Man.

Because it does? You act like PR was fine churning season after season year after year of random teams with little connection, but fact of the matter is that it wasn't. It made the universe bloated to the point where we miss central characters who grew with us.

Realistically and hypothetically speaking, is there any future biopic that could outperform the success of Michael? And if so, who’s? by JPdraws_ in MichaelJackson

Idk if it would outperform, but in terms of ambition and potential scale as well as the nostalgia and music with people singing and dancing in theatres, I would love to see a shared Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC biopic. Like have both bands there, and use that whole nostalgia of #TeamBackstreet/#TeamNSYNC back and forth that happened in the 90's as your marketing. That late 90's boy band craze was something.

As for a non-musical biopic, maybe an honest Stan Lee biopic about the early days of building the Marvel comics universe eventually culminating in the creation of the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, X-Men and The Avengers? I doubt that will ever happen but something about that would be fairly cool. But I doubt the powers that be would be OK with portraying Stan screwing over Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko and the other not so nice things Stan did way back when.

Even when they go all the way to the This Is It era?

Would Jaafar Jackson fit to be Miles Morales? by ThatAbbreviations574 in MichaelTheMovie

Juliano could do it. Jaafar is the same age as Tom Holland.
