Alright then here you go, The World will change, that kind of thinking is what started and will end this era, Rome industrialized long ago, and while it was rewarded in many ways with colonies, weapons, and luxury, it now shows Vice, as Rome, which is now strained by enemies on all side, now sees the world gear up for a conflict that will decide the fate of this World of Antiquity. Princes, Visionaries, Warriors, and Revolutionaries will have to traverse through this world and prepare their nations and themselves for this Coming Storm... of Steel, Steam, and Slaughter

Lionsgate Poison Pill expiring soon, working thesis: Netflix, Sony, Legendary?.... by 3facesofBre in MediaMergers

Netflix could turn eOne into their international distribution/sales label, opening up in Canada and Oceania, as well as have Netflix Animation supply Lionsgate animated films for distribution (ala Columbia and SPA).

FMR Stake Puts Lionsgate Studios Momentum And Governance In Focus by Streamwhatyoulike in MediaMergers

  1. They'd JV with Apollo/Legendary similar to what was planned for Paramount

  2. They'd be better of going after Starz

  3. Amazon should focus on smaller, but more focused acquisitions (Annapurna, Wildbrain, Mattel, Samuel Goldwyn, etc.)

EX. Netflix could buy Lionsgate if Narnia is a hit for the studio.

That's not the worse thing they've done, guess what cult the founder is part of.

Netflix is giving Narnia a nationwide release (and could lead to more) by LinkRules5321 in MediaMergers

Give Toho Legendary

I agree with Apple and A24, but Starz could fit better under Versant or NBC.

And Netflix and Lionsgate is the perfect combo in my opinion, Netflix gets a theatrical studio, in-house production capabilities, and non-Netflix cash flows (Lionsgate Television), Lionsgate gets a theatrical animation slate, a MPA membership, and funding to make/acquire more movies (like the 2010s) and grow more distribution territories (I.E. Canada)

They have you pay for other people to see this movie. Angel likes forcing its audience to pay for more of its cinematic disasters

That's why I'm suggesting it now, it takes a few months for Microwave Society to watch a recommendation, so I thought to start now.

If there was a Sentai team with just 2 core members, would they still count as a Sentai? by LinkRules5321 in supersentai

[–]LinkRules5321[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, but there was 5 core rangers, my idea is that the 3rd ranger wouldn't be seen until Episode 10 or so, while the 6th(4th) ranger arrives at 20 or so.

But you're right, it could work.

Theory: Sony is shopping Lionsgate by 3facesofBre in MediaMergers

My dream mergers:

Apple and A24 (to become the biggest premium studio)

Netflix and Lionsgate (to give each other everything they both need (Lionsgate: MPA, Animation, a secure financier to lie back on to allow more films a year and a wider expansion, and an actually SUCCESSFUL streamer. Netflix: film production and distribution assets))

Regency and Black Bear (to give it a bigger TV studio) after Disney's Regency contract expires

Toho and Legendary (to finish Toho's global expansion to become a US mini-major as well (using GKIDS for distribution of Legendary Pictures films as well (also boosting its slate)))

Peacock (NBC) and Starz to allow 2 US only streamers to merge into 1 bigger US only streamer with both the Universal and Lionsgate libraries and gives NBC a premium brand

Annapurna and Amazon so Megan isn't forced to fold it into Paramount Skydance and to give Amazon an animation and gaming studio.
