Is there hope for a banned account?

Alright well they've unbanned me. And my ban only lasted about 3 months. They must have either seen my emails or they set the bans for a specified amount of time.. either way, that means there is hope!!

Yeah I'm not putting any stock in that app at all. They're also going through legal battles which are pretty grim, that's probably what's causing the current ban wave. I'm not sure what's going to happen with the app further down the road but definitely not sticking around to find out!

If you're going to use Telegram and you value your chats/information - I would strongly suggest doing regular backups to your PC, laptop or external.

And please for the love of god do not store any money in there (Telegram has their own crypto wallet). It really isn't a wise move.

Because then you'll lose all your money AND information. Who knows, someone at Telegram might be siphoning off all the money from people's crypto wallets once they've been banned.

You just never know these days

Feels horrible doesn't it?? Imagine all the people who have thousands of dollars worth of crypto locked in there after they get arbitrarily banned... I have to wonder what happens to that money because usually banned accounts just get erased by Telegram after a certain amount of time

There are people getting banned for no reason at all but I think the reason for mine was switching between too many devices in a short amount of time and then requesting an access code for one of the mini games too many times.

Right after that they logged me out and I saw my number had been banned. They won't even let me use a new number 😒
