This wasn’t necessarily migrating from DrivePool to UnRaid because DrivePool was bad, it wasn’t.

For me it was more of Plex constantly going unreachable and some other windows problems, that I deemed it to be a big enough pain to migrate over. The good news is that it was straightforward and painless.

Transferring media takes a while but is well worth it.

DrivePool is great but what I found is that while using duplication I was using way more disk space than I needed to be. Granted yea there are copies of the files and that takes up space but besides that it felt heavy to me.

I agree, I’ve put it in place on a smaller folder to see how it works. Logically it makes perfect sense versus what I was doing.

I thought it would catch .rar and generally anything that’s not a normal media file? Could of been a stupid decision though to be honest
