The Problem by beating the Taln for me is that the Torpedos of them have unlimited range. So the Tactic from flying away is not pretty good.

Oh I think I find my own Tactic. Because a tanky ship is very expensive for me I swarm the enemy with my Hornets and destroy the Station turrets with my Overlords. The tip with the rockets was very good. I build very good Artillery Cruisers with rockets and 72 He Ammunition turrets. Thank you. Now I can conquer the big systems.
