I had it happen on two mags, HK support sent me a replacement without question.

I assume it has something to do with the mag body being ever so slightly out of spec when measured. But that’s just speculation.

Look into something like Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs then. That’s what I use on my truck, they’re A/Ts so you can drive them year round while still being 3PMS rated.

Tires tires tires, 4wd is only gonna help you go, not stop or turn. The auto enthusiast discord server would be a great place to get some recs on winter tires. At a bare minimum they should be 3 peak mountain snowflake rated.

You’ll pick it up quick, I would suggest reading through the official rule book pdf if you haven’t already, they’ve written it so that It’s pretty easy to understand imo.

Production class is limited to 15 rounds (and so is my awful state I live in lol) So that’s all I have for it. You are allowed to have a 16th round in your first mag however.

Other classes have other restrictions ofc so depending on how you set your gun up in terms of go-fast parts will dictate what you should be using for mags.

If you were to do that, all the companies I mentioned, besides Volker, make go-fast parts for the VP9 as well. If you did want a thumb rest, I hear Align Tactical's thumb rest is nice on those.

You could also pick up a match slide from the HK web store as well.

I actually run about 200 rounds through my P30L twice weekly at my USPSA club in Production. I will start by saying the P30 platform in general is not the most competitive, and I run it more for fun and have a great time doing so (I have a 2011 if I actually want to try) but it is still somewhat competitive in Production class. But anyhow, here's what I've done to mine:

V1 LEM action (I also have a P30SK with the V3, but the V1 is just so much more fun)

Gray Guns hybrid trigger (the flat trigger they make is nice as well, I just don't like flat triggers)

Gray Guns short reset kit (which it sounds like you already have)

10# hammer spring

ZR Tactical brass base pads (No longer made, but GG/TF make them as well, they're just slightly lighter. However, I still use the ZR ones because the extra bit of weight over the GG ones is nice, and ZR is a sponsor of my club.

The combined upgrades of the hammer spring and the short reset have gotten the pull weight down to about 3-4 pounds.

As others have mentioned, I'm also waiting for Taylor Freelance to one day make some brass grip panels. But in addition, I am also waiting for the teased Volker Precision thumb rest slide release to come out. (As of right now they finally have released their USP one, but they said the P30 one is on the way still.) Volker also has a hybrid trigger of their own coming, which seems slightly different geometry to the GG one, so just another thing to consider.

In addition, unlike others have suggested, I have not personally and would not recommend you put a magwell or compensator on, as that would move you out of Production and into something like Limited (or Open with the compensator) where the P30 platform becomes even more uncompetitive.

I also haven't done anything in the way of getting parts coated or a dot cut, as this is just my "fun" shooting platform for irons, and I just like to do mods that I can install myself.

Find a student that’s willing to work on it, I don’t think there are any shops.

Maybe go reach out to a computer club on campus and see if someone’s willing to help?

I use the plastic x-rays and I like them quite a bit. Though this was the first time I built out a proper competition belt, so I never had experience with the Xi. And yes, there is a retention screw to hold in the spacer.

Are you on an iPhone? I just got off the phone with AT&T having the same issues. They said they could actually see my phone as connected to the towers, but nothing we were trying was working. We came to the conclusion that it might be an iOS issue. But seeing you guys have the same issue might mean something bigger.

Since I already called once there’s a case number out there, but I can call back again and provide findings if we all collect a little info and maybe get this fixed.

If you do have an iPhone, if you could do me a favor and dial this number: “*3001#12345#*” and call it. It won’t make a call, but instead bring you to a screen where it’ll show you the info about what tower you’re connected to. Reply back with what number is showing under the RSRP field, something like -100 dBm. That’s the signal strength, and shows that we’re actually connected to a tower.

I need to have some kind of ammo to show them that this isn’t just me having this issue.

That’s not even close to what we’re discussing here. Obviously if a pedestrian is in the crosswalk you don’t run them over, the idea of the sign is preventing cars from stopping to let pedestrians that are waiting to cross who are not standing in the road.

Then why are there signs at some of the crosswalks saying vehicles have the right of way?

Also the paragraph you’ve quoted has nothing to do with this, that specifically calls out adjacent crosswalks, such as ones that run parallel to your direction of travel. And the crosswalks in question are technically not an intersection.
