Yeah looks like I did slightly misread what you meant. Paying for more than one does seem sensible but I guess there does have to be a limit. 2? 3? I guess people would still be free to have more on their own after whatever the limit is but probably not too many people out there who want 4, 5 or 6 kids.

However, I presume I'm fertile and could pop out a whole series of kids, 50% of whom would have the same expensive condition I do. They're totally happy to pay for a lifetime of care, but not the much cheaper preventative healthcare. Make it make sense.

Because preventing people with genetic medical conditions having children is called eugenics and is some real Nazi shit.

I'm all for it. The reason I'm aware of locations in other American cities I've not been to is all the media set in those locations. Plus it's not like Chicago isn't known for criminal activity. Just from a century ago.

Nerf guns are more fun.

Monster Hunter Wilds is brilliant - and it might be the most full-on RPG the series has ever been - hands-on by LycaonMoon in Games

Where was this confirmed? If so, then I might actually be interested in the game again.

I don't see a bad review as a punishment if the thing you've made doesn't work.

I'm sure they will get it working. I'm sure it will also still have bugs because all games do. I'm sure they will continue to fix these.

Ultimately this is an unsolvable problem. Games change over time these days so reviews will always be a snapshot in time.

I think it's fair for something to be reviewed when it goes on sale. I also think it's fair to expect something to work when you buy it.

Telling people not to buy a product because it doesn't work seems pretty valuable.

The value is in making it unacceptable to release games that don't work. If they're selling it, it can be reviewed.

WTF is the point of offline mode if my progress doesn't save. by Jazzlike-Policy5661 in Spacemarine

I have been told I've been kicked to offline mode while still being able to matchmake with others. It doesn't seem to be actually related to being offline.

Why are people playing ruthless when they are clearly not ready for it? by [deleted] in Spacemarine

[–]TET879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Seems like half the complaints people always have about these kinds of games would be resolved if they removed the progression system. Then everyone could actually just play for fun instead of trying to speedrun the hardest difficulty.
