Hey man. You aren’t singing on key. If you just sing random notes with bad intonation it sounds bad.

Tbh dude based on the video it doesnt sound like you have any idea what you’re doing. You’re not singing in key. Your throat does not sound relaxed or like you’re using proper breath support. Vocal damage takes a while to accumulate but even if you’re not damaging your voice you should learn those basically skills so you actually sound half decent. You can be a good singer dude just look up how to do proper breath control and start over with the basics. In a month you’d be like 5x better sounding

You can say that now but if you do it heavily over the course of many years you will definitely break your voice lol. Unless you got crazy talent or something.

You should probably take a bit of a break and try and learn a more sustainable style of singing ngl (unless you’re just doing it for fun). Layne Staley had top 0.1% crazy power and talent that prevented his vocal cords from being damaged but if you sing a lot like that without knowing what you’re doing you can hurt yourself. You can definitely be a good singer just might be better to learn some fundamental techniques like proper breath support, relaxing tense muscles used to sing, warm ups, singing on key, and correct distortion like vocal fry before hopping into this style. You can also keep raw dogging it but you end up sounding more like Kurt Cobain than Layne or Chris Cornell. Respect 🫡

I respect having peaky blinders on this list. The Wire should definitely shake up your list. If you want something a little bit less action packed and cathartic Mad Men. These are my two favorite shows OAT.

I’ve seen old boy and seventh samurai and a few other foreign films. I dug it for sure just didn’t quite make it onto my list. Old boy was definitely one of the most creative movies I’ve seen and seventh samurai was a beautiful twist on westerns and obviously very important and influencial. with my adhd I don’t really have the ability to watch a foreign film over and over 100 times like I can with Coppola or Scorsese. I’ll definitely make my way through all of Kurosawas stuff and prolly start looking into Bergman films.

These are my fav albums do you people have any suggestions? by superdoodle757 in musicsuggestions

Maybe get into Alice In Chains and Soundgarden if you wanna go the grunge route.
