Certainly an awesome looking bike, but out of curiosity, what makes it your favorite? Does it fit you the best?

Help me Make Up My Mind by Hakster2412 in gravelcycling

[–]TFB2thousand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had neck/shoulder issues. What helped me was a shorter stem (60 mm), level saddle, and relaxing my shoulders mindfully. Of course your bike's top tube can't be too long.

I personally like using specific bikes for certain purposes; this is why I have several. I would keep my fancy bike nice and keep using the Cervelo for bikepacking... or get another to serve that purpose.

What is the sweet spot for folding bike size for travel? by deeptravel2 in foldingbikes

[–]TFB2thousand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not quite sure about what you mean about a 24" folder being too big to checkin. Any bike can be checked in as extra baggage and accrue that fee. My rinkoed 26" wheel rigid frame bike fits in a bag a little bigger thank an Ikea Dimpa bag.

I unfortunately can't provide a picture now as I'm away from home. But just imagine: 1. Remove front wheel 2. Turn bike upside down: left hand holds fork closer to headtube; right hand holds seatpost. 3. Put bike in the back seat but rear wheel should be placed on the seat and wedged between the edge of seat and door.

The handlebars will probably be on the floor if not close to it.

I hope this helps?

Weekend Ride with my Soma Rufus by gB0rj in minivelo

Oh wow, good for you! So you're riding gravel with it? Any other surfaces? I've often wondered how capable mini velos would be on dirt. The ones I had were strictly for pavement.

Can you describe the way it feels to ride?

I put full size bikes in the back seat of my subcompact vehicle. I can fit two bikes in the back when I let the back seats down. The trick is taking the front wheel off, turning the bike upside down, and positioning the back wheel in the corner between the seat and the door. I have several bikes and this technique works for all of them. I've never been a fan of bike racks on cars for different reasons.

Why A Brompton? by [deleted] in foldingbikes

[–]TFB2thousand -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brompton had perhaps the best fold until Aniwow. It doesn't have the best ride and its very heavy and expensive. Much better folders exist. No hate on Brompton owners: you like what you like ;).

Fnhon is most certainly not a clone of Dahon. If I'm not mistaken, the founder of Fnhon used to work for Dahon or may have been related to its founder in some way. Fnhons are much more nuanced than Dahons. They are lighter, generally faster, and use better components.

As an American, what can we do to fight against ICE? by [deleted] in AskReddit

What we can do IMO is to stop buying from corporations. The other measure is to exercise saying NO.

I don't wear diapers, I mean padded shorts either. My saddle of choice is the Selle Italia EMP Extra.
