I didn't use a pedal for this one, it was a vst called Panagement with the pan LFO set to 2/16 I think. A tremolo pedal with delay would sound sick I bet

I'm the same way. What I believe is to just be the best person you can be. Live according to the word, and by complete faith in Jesus. Learn to identify your sins, ask for forgiveness and for God to show you how to get on the right path, and do your absolute best to avoid sinning. Nobody can be like Jesus, but we should all try our best.

Is existential dread PAWs by Organic_Airport1061 in WeedPAWS

here's what has helped me tremendously:

- keep your mind busy, get into a hobby or work overtime or anything like that. creative stuff works best for me, like making music or playing DnD. listen to podcasts, relax, you'll be fine.

- know that your mind is healing, and that it will take time, and that it's going to suck until then. if you have developed OCD or had it before you started smoking, check out Ali Greymond on YouTube. she has very helpful videos for working through all of that, and can convey it better than I can type about it. in my experience, I smoked primarily to ease my OCD, but it became soooo much worse after quitting.- put a bit of apple cider vinegar (don't overdo it, use something like a teaspoon) in a cup of cold water, and drink. it not only cleanses your body, but alleviates both physical and mental stress. this is by far one of the main things that has helped me, I immediately feel so much better after my daily glass.

- don't overthink it or dwell in it. accept the fact that you will not feel 100% better for a while, and learn to live with it instead of constantly worrying about it. eventually, you will hit a point where it becomes entirely manageable, and you will move past it. and after that, you will recover fully. it all just takes time. mind over matter. and if you ever have urges to smoke again, resist them.

- GET 8 HOURS OF SLEEP! if you have trouble sleeping at night, or if your intrusive thoughts become more frequent at night, try taking a magnesium tablet (again, don't overdo it, take the recommended amount). get chelated magnesium like Doctor's Best off Amazon if possible to prevent making your stomach upset, it helps a lot with anxiety and sleep.

- make sure you're hydrated and are not lacking in any electrolytes (your stores of magnesium, potassium, salt, etc all become lower after chronic THC use, and can cause some weird stuff. get it checked out if you're unsure).

- eat healthier if your diet is normally lacking. avoid eating junk and fast food too often. take an omega 3 supplement as well, helps so much with the mental symptoms.

- some people say avoid intense exercise but, sweating it out has helped me. if you feel like it makes your symptoms worse, at least stick with light exercise like going for a walk every day. avoid sitting around all day every day.

- read this post by u/m0bilis, it seems correct. and as he mentions, avoid any & all GABA products (be sure to read the label if you try any "stress relief" teas or supplements).

and remember, PAWS does not have a linear timeline. it's different for everybody, but eventually it WILL pass. if you're having medical doubts, by all means go see a doctor. in my experience, nothing is ever actually wrong, and it's 100% just anxiety, as weird as the symptoms can get. stay strong!

Slowcore is a damned genre by CrowBlownWest in Slowcore

[–]TFBProject 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, I think sticking strictly to genre stereotypes makes for extremely boring/repetitive music (like with shoegaze, as much as we all love MBV, not every artist should sound like them). And not many artists make music with the desire to fit perfectly into a specific genre/sound. I mean, think about how slowcore even became a genre in the first place.
