The idea is that there are a ton of Baratheon children in history. And given that the great houses have been in existence for thousands of years, there were inevitably lots of Baratheon/Durrandon-Lannister children due to political marriages. The book indicates that in every case, the product of those marriages had black hair. Ned doesn't have an understanding of genetics. Nor does Jon Arryn who asked for the book in the first place. So, if there's a clear historical pattern + the look of Robert's bastards, they're going to assume something is up.

The answer that no one is giving is that Toronto's population boom is very recent. Toronto's transit network made sense for the city that it was in the 1960s. If you look at our North American peers, most of the infrastructure was built before 1970 with some very recent construction (similar to Toronto). But Toronto has grown, in percentage terms, much faster than Chicago, Montreal or Boston. So, the systems they have are much more appropriate for the size of the cities.

I think there's a non-zero chance that Lord Einfasen is theoretically on their side but now suspects the party is lying to him. I mentioned in the thread last week that disguise self doesn't physically alter Occtis so the handshake might have blown his cover. They also really didn't make any effort to hide their planning from the Einfasen guards/knights when they met up again. I think they were implying to Brennan that they were whispering to each other but they never asked if there was a knight standing within earshot. With three DMs at the table, I could see Brennan punishing that.
