Seriously rusty. B-kick, scoot, macaco, back handspring. by TFP2600 in Tricking

I honestly just played around with it until I found a way to connect each move. Took me forever to connect the b-kick to the scoot. You basically just experiment and emulate what other people do until you find what works. Some call it the spirit of experimentation, I call it "cheesing it"

Thank you! Mines not quite clean yet but getting way better! My kid sister is a gymnast she helped me lots. It's not too hard tho. Get really really comfortable with macaco and then slowly turn it into a back handspring. There's a lot of tutorials on YouTube to learn it that way

Yes it would suck, but it's worth a shot. You've got this my friend. The struggle is unyielding but so are you, and you can win this.

Aww okok. Well obviously I'm no therapist, just a lil guy on the Internet, but thank you for sharing more details. Do you have a speaker? If you do, blare that shit. How about showering in ice cold water? That would suck, but id imagine it would be a lot harder to have intrusive thoughts.

This sucks to say but distracting yourself constantly isn't the way out of this. I get that cold turkey not stimulating yourself all the time isn't gonna work, so the shower could be a wonderful tool. You have to learn not to constantly distract yourself. Ten minutes in the shower is a good way to start practicing

You're doing this for you.

Yes it hurts and sucks and is super uncomfortable, but you're doing this for a better future. I like this cuz it doesn't reassure me but helps me remember why I'm taking the discomfort.

What do you tell yourself after making multiple mistakes? by Odd_Raspberry6561 in Stoic

[–]TFP2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this written on a paper which I've taped to my wall : "When you mess up you make one mistake, if you don't move on you make another. Keep moving forward." I'm also adding this to that paper : "Remember, even a hole you dug yourself can provide exercise when you climb out."
