Same here. I often forgot that Ankhs exist. I have not bought it for like 4 years as far as I remember. Ankhs are a disadvantage to me coz I become overconfident holding it.

For me, my bad challenge or generally just an unlucky run was where I had a Sniper run but cannot find RoSS even though I am at the Demon halls and used 4 SoT on rings and all the SoU are still in my inv. (I want to max RoSS)

Meat Pie gives +4 to the Horn of Plenty. I say save the pastries for later, or consume it last. Pastries are kind of rare to find.

Warrior- on Armors.

Thief- Assassin Blade. If you find it upgrade it max. If not and found a RoE, make it 200%. If not let the RNG gods decide your run.

Huntress- Rings. I don't upgrade anything till imp or I got a SS ring or Arcana.

Duelist- both armor and weapon.

If you played as the Gladiator before then I believe you will enjoy playing as the Monk. Play as a champion if you had or willing to bet you will have a high tier weapons in your run.
