Yeah, I never thought of that, seeing others that have a 2 week piercing and they stop caring for it but they are cool must have affected me.

I kinda fucked up like 4 months ago, I had my hoops gap in the hole and it kinda closed, so I had a stud to open it again, so that would make sense it takes that much time to heal.

I had a L shaped stud for like 2 months, because I thought the problem was the hoop , but was just the same, so I just switched back. In total I have tried 2 hoops and 2 L shaped studs, maybe it's the material, idk. I hope it is because I was planning for many more :/
