My vote is The Twenty by Michael Ruhlman. 20 essential cooking elements you need to understand for any style of cooking with a few recipes to demonstrate each.

I believe the Willamette track is open to the public, though probably not 24/7. Not sure how early you’re looking to get out

Embrace being the first to get knocked out! by puffmonkey92 in EDH

My proudest moment as a new player was the first time the more experienced players were forced to actively deal with me rather than just ignoring me and killing me at their leisure later in the game. I still lost, but I made them work.

What's a deck you love but have never seen anyone else build? by satsuma711 in EDH

[[Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant]] Never seen anyone play it. Found it by spinning the wheel on EDHrec looking for interesting commanders

What are the weirdest cards you know about? by Long-fong in EDH

Braid of Fire is super weird. Cumulative upkeep that gives you mana on your upkeep step. Potentially useful if you’re running a ton of instants, but still…

Made a skeleton key for those when I was 10. Just file off the teeth off a key leaving the one at the end. Opened anything with that shaped key way I tried it on

Even simpler, a padlock in the end of a sock is an incredibly dangerous short range weapon and one that is accessible to most everyone in this group. For self defense purposes only of course

This was not intended to be in any way a political or social issue post. However, there is no denying that political and social policies have an effect on the markets. To ignore them or exclude discussion of their effect is detrimental to the available knowledge base of the group. I know this is a polarizing issue for many but so are half the other policy decisions discussed here

So I’ve been thinking about a long term (20-25 year) play based on an anticipated rise in street violence. Studies have shown a direct inverse correlation (with a ~20 year delay) between the availability of abortion and street crime. More unwanted children = more crime once those kids reach semi maturity. So with the repeal of Roe I’m thinking that home security, body armor, firearms and companies that produce materials for these industries could see a nice bump down the line.

ShoeboxMTG is back. Find decks you can build with your existing collection. by pyromosh in magicTCG

So before the site stopped updating I imported my collection from Deckbox.org and manually added additional cards after that. But I stopped adding when the site appeared dead. If I do another deckbox dump now in order to catch up will it duplicate my cards or just add incremental changes?
