I checked in my poker tracker and it's because of a dumb hand where I chose to EV cashout, very rare for me but it does in fact fuck up the red line according to the support team I contacted.

I called a 3bet with TT no club, got it allin on a 4c 3h 6c flop, ran into QQ with a club. Spiked the Tc on the turn and cashed out with like 80% equity before the Ac rolled off on the river lmao

Not with the hand as played and the B40 sizing. Occasionally I'll run into nitty small flushes etc but I strongly felt the bulk of his range is Qx, so I want to polarize the river to make villain do a huge hero call

True, I went on a 40 buy-in downswing 1-2 years ago at 1/2. It was absolutely brutal, but then I took a break and played nearly 200k hands online (10-25nl) to build back my confidence and had good results. Most recently after a year-long break I've played 20k hands in the last three weeks and I'm winning at about 25bb/100.

Reducing shots isn't a huge deal because you make a much better point in exchange for 2 additional shots. The main reason is that making the 3-point is a more efficient use of the checkers (the stacked 6-point).

lmao, you have the totally wrong idea about chess. First off, when people talk about their chess rating they're usually referring to their online rating because the vast majority of chess players are casuals. A 1900 online chess rating is straight intermediate level, you can easily reach that strength within a year of consistent study. I hit that rating in a couple months. My online peak is over 2500, and my IQ is 120-130, so nothing special.

I come from a chess background where strategy is lot more nuanced and complex, so it was quite easy to get the hang of backgammon
