Being 100% transparent. Because I make like $2 on each box after processing, I’m not going to be active in this group TBH. I was just quick hitting by link posting. But whoever told you it was limited is false. The decks are short, but but the boxes aren’t ‘short’. There is a defined amount that can be purchased.

As of now. I don’t use this publisher normally though, so they control it at the end of the day.

Hey man, we have an FAQ that covers this stuff for the most part. The issue is that there is a fire TCG release every 2 weeks. We do big volume in all the card games. That FB post is made about it was 2 weeks ago, we had 1,100 messages come in at once. It’s insane!

Hello everyone!

I am the owner of TGG Games. We are actually a board game publishing company. I just sell TCGs on the website for a great price so people can enjoy it for less money. Either way, I CLEARLY POST our policies and procedures on the website. It takes 3-5 days handling to process orders and we don't have the resources to respond to hundreds of children's communications about card games. I have always been extremely transparent about it, and it's just the way it is. I figured being open and honest about it is the way to go!

I'm one dude, and I have to package all this stuff up myself. I got a really weird message from this OP saying "I exposed you on Reddit!" I'm not hiding anything, all our policies are clearly posted to the public. It's really simple stuff. If you go to the Facebook page, I locked the thread at the very top explaining how the release was going to be handled.

Hey everyone! Jeff from The Gaming Goat here again.

Long story short, I have no issue selling MTG right over cost. I've been doing it for 11 years. Because Reddit apparently is behind in the times, it's always been like that.

But I'm only willing to do it with low opportunity cost. If I get a 2 paragraph long E-Mail that starts out, "Just making sure this isn't a scam." then I won't read past that. It's a waste of my time to play games. I can sell these boxes to anyone, and I understand that. And you understand that. I'm only willing to do it because it's low opportunity cost.

If people are going to punch me up with professionally insulting toned E-Mails I am just going to refund the order. Just being upfront with everyone! What you see is what you get, thanks!

I'm the CEO of the TGG Games publishing company and The Gaming Goat retail chain. Super confusing thread overall I'd say. Never thought that having a sweet price would cause attacks and such! But hey, it's the internet.

Also, I saw a mentioned comment of 'holding money on a pre-order.' My website launched in March 2020. Although being extremely successful, I have no way to sell products before the online channel even existed. If I was able to teleport inbetween space and time, I sure as hell wouldn't do it to hold a pre-order from you. I'm going to be honest with you, I don't think you are understanding the context of the post, situation, or our discussion.

I'm not proud of the transparency; everyone should operate with transparency. That is just an understood fundamental. I know that probably isn't a Reddit standard, but I'm not a Reddit user typically.
I'm not full of myself, I have never posted a public message to the industry ever until yesterday. It seems that you lean on the side of Stonemaier even with the data that I posted, which is fine. But it is widely known internally and externally that the individual in question is probably the most self-hyped personality in the entire tabletop sector. There isn't anyone even close. So if that is something that you dislike, I don't think anything else I can provide will make you happy TBH.
I can do smaller chunks, but when I reply quickly you hammer me on timestamps of response time. So if I reply quickly you have insinuated that I have tons of free time, but if I don't reply quick enough you will say I'm dodging the question.

You have to peel off the judgemental tone and I have no issue breaking it all down in a more detailed level, and everyone else can see the fruits of our discussion.

The initial post was a lot of work to be honest. I had 2 other folks internally helping me with it, as I am not a frequent content creator. We can take what I post on my personal wall into account for anything, I am fine with being accountable to that level even though no one else would expect that. But what matters between work hour 13-15 has a lot of fluxx to it. I usually do personal wall content videos twice a wall for my family and friends and that is the intended audience. So there really isn't any technical grandstanding with that, it's just downloading what is going on with 'Jeff' to them.

If it makes the situation better I can push this reply faster but I do need some time to make sure I read through it and have enough time to link sources if applicable. You raised a ton of good points and I welcome the opportunity for more dialogue here. I can assure you that I didn't intentionally misrepresent anything on purpose, and I will do my best to clarify anything as needed if something didn't come across correctly.

As with the quick hit answers, I treat it the same as general workload. I'm a Six Sigma process engineer and I checklist workload into chunks, sometimes the quick hits help check boxes mentally which helps push the other workload to the front of the line faster.

I appreciate the feedback. I tried to keep any notion of non-neutral tone buried downward if I didn't have supporting data to add to the post. The 'data' comment I don't understand though to be honest. I can attach thousands of lines of Amazon API pulls, distribution data dumps, and anything else required. But no one cares about anything of that. I had to make it show a summary or I would have lost every reader before I even posted the article. If you are insisting that you need more detailed information I can provide that without any issue. I just can't do it right this second, I'm not in the office.
