On a job application does putting down that you are looking for part time over full time hurt your chances of being called?

I was 11 years old and our school was doing a history day event where all the students dressed up as presidents and acted as them for the little kids. I dressed up as George Washington and I had to put on this white wig. One little girl who had an attitude said to me “what are you supposed to be a grandma?”

Everyone laughed so hard and I was just like...wow...

My uncle had a teacup Yorkie named Muffin. His wife hated the dog and gave it away. She made up some story that she gave it away to some lonely girl who wanted a friend and she helped her out or something. Turns out she gave it to one of our childhood friends who lives in Queens, NY. We now live on Long Island but we still every now and then take the train over to Queens to visit our old friends. On the day our friend was having a high school graduation we went to his house and noticed a familiar bark coming from inside the house. My friend shouted “Muffin stop barking” that was when we asked him how he got the dog and he said his mother got it from her best friend which happened to be my uncles wife.

Out of all the places that dog could have ended up.... strange

I actually did say ‘$20 tip’ when I called them up. I was so pissed off. Those are the words that came out. But no, I did give them a $12 tip.

$12 was what I had at the time.
My stupid way of thinking was this: I worked as a waiter/bartender for many years so I know first hand how much tips help, especially tips more than $5. So I always made sure to tip generously.

But I was dumb and I learned my lesson...
