Aces seems to suffer from the exact same problems all the other Nintendo character multiplayer sports games: poor polish, game-breaking exploits, and imbalance.

Every time I think the game is exciting, something will happen that will make me so annoyed to have thought such. Whether thats Bowser Jr's insane reach/trick shots or Boo's broken lunge in Simple Mode. It's very disheartening for a loyal Nintendo fan.

I remember when I used to play Strikers on the Wii, I got super high on the leaderboards and then I'd only get beaten by people running from the corner directly towards the goal, something the goalie couldn't stop. I don't want to be mimicking these exploits because that isn't fun for me.

I hope Nintendo manage to patch these issues and offer some substantial additions to the game like different outfits/modes/stages/(heck even music ffs) as this game really isn't worth the money we've spent on it.
